Paul Ryan Confident in Repeal of Obamacare

I wish I could share his confidence during his interview with Breitbart. However I don't believe for a minute that Mitch McConnell or John Boehner have any kind of back bone to pull it off. I think Boehner can be forced into the vote by the actual adults in the room in the House but the Senate I fear is a lost cause.

Reid will never allow McConnell to bring the bill forward and, McConnell will fold like the cheap suit he is just so he doesn't upset the apple cart. Remember it was McConnell who killed Senator Jim Demint's bill to force the entirety of the Obamacare bill to be read on the Senate floor before it could be voted on. I guess he wanted to wait until he passed it to see what was in it.

Face it nothing that the "leadership" of the Republican party has done in the last 4 years has been worth anything. They consistently cave right when something might actually get hard. With friends like them who needs enemies people to consistently kick you in the balls. Face it we are stuck with spineless wimps in charge of the Republican party. Until the time comes that we send enough actual Conservative to Congress to remove them and put people in position we will continue to get steamrolled. Look at the left, wanna know why they got Obamacare passed and we can't force a debt limit hold? Simple, our leaders are looking to negotiate, they want to give things away so they can look statesmen like. The left, they don't care, they have principals, they are all wrong, but you have to admit Pelosi and Reid come to a position and don't leave it, EVER. Now what we need on our side is someone who is just as stubborn and refuses to budge. Quite frankly I don't give a damn if Congress never passes another bill. Maybe if all they couldn't pass anything for the next few years then government would slow down. Hell if we were lucky we could shut it down for a little while and show people they don't need anything that the government provides. The part of the interview that still leaves me with a small fear about Paul Ryan is this, he thought the super committee was a good idea. No seriously he did. “I don’t see the Supercommittee as a failure,” he said. “The President worked to make it fail. In the House, we worked hard to pass caps on discretionary spending. That came out of the Supercommittee. We need the president and the Senate to get things done.”
And there is my problem. I see the supercommittee as exactly what it was, a complete failure that was doing nothing more than passing the buck because Congress was scared to actually make a decision. As I have said before, grow up and get a set, this is a big-boy sport, if you're scared, GO HOME.
