Feed on the Hate, it's all we have left

Now that Mitch McConnell and John Boehner have officially capitulated we can go ahead and start focusing on the things that are important in life. Like how to get them both out of office now. We're looking at you Ohio.

To be honest Boehner hasn't completely tucked tail just yet, but let's be honest we all know it's coming.
Shortly after the news came out about the framework of the capitulation that McConnell gave into after Harry Reid allegedly came to his office. Let me repeat that Harry Reid came to McConnell's office. That means Reid felt some pressure to make something happen. That means McConnell had the leverage. Why? Because Reid blinked first. And what does McConnell do with it? He pisses it away.
Let me lay out the framework of the Senate plan
1. Capitulate to Dems
2. Apologize for Ted Cruz while capitulating to Dems
3. Hope to get invite to next cocktail party while capitulating to Dems

Yup. That pretty much sums it up right there. Let me know how that works out for you there Mitch. I hear competition is brewing in Kentucky.

Boehner still has a problem on his hand. He wants to capitulate. More than anything in the world he wants to do it. His problem is not one of conscious it is one of power. Meaning he has it and doesn't want to lose it. Since his own capitulation plan couldn't pass the House, what exactly do you think the odds of the Senate plan passing are.

Then again Ted Cruz could push us over the imaginary debt limit cliff all by himself. After all we have been using "extraordinary measures" since May. What the hell makes 2 days from now so special?

Personally I am looking forward to going over this cliff. Why? Because just like the sequestration that nobody noticed, and just like the government shutdown that nobody really noticed (outside of veterans visiting monuments) no one is going to notice the debt ceiling.

Money will still come into the government. The government will still pay the debt required by law because even Obama ain't that dumb.* After all he was the first President to get the credit rating lowered, he doesn't want to add default to that legacy of his.

*Then again who knows, he is kinda spiteful. Would he default the full faith and credit of the U.S. just for spite. And if he did would the House impeach him over it?
