According to Liberty News, Wal Mart is suspending the ordering of any new ammunition until D.C. decides on what asinine new encroachments they want to put on our 2nd Amendment rights.
“As of right now WalMart is not going to be making any new orders of
ammo because of the upcoming decision on the Second Amendment. As of
right now we are unsure of what new legislation might be coming, and
because of this, we are suspending new orders."
Let me start with this. WHAT THE HELL WAL MART? Do you realize who your customer base is? Do you honestly believe that the people that allow you to have an annual operating budget larger than most small countries is really going to just stand by quietly when you run out of the ammo that you currently have in stock?
Yeah I didn't think so either. I understand that Wal Mart has a complete right to sell or not sell any item they so choose. All they have to do is suffer the consequences of customers choosing to spend their money else where. Will this cause people to walk away from the store and never shop there again? Probably not, but if enough people start causing problems for store managers and the managers are continually having to explain to very unhappy people why they aren't able to get the ammo they need for that last hunting trip of the year, how exactly is that going to go over?
My actual question is how much ammo does Wal Mart have on hand or in its distribution system and how long will that hold out?
The fact that a company is no longer going to sell a product because the idiots in D.C. might do something is beyond unbelievable. How many ammo sales are those companies going to lose in the next few weeks because Wal Mart all of a sudden lost its spine and is afraid of upsetting Obama.
