Stop me if you have heard this before. Barack Obama our Speech-giver-in-chief, has no idea what that the hell he is doing. Israel sends ground troops in to Gaza in an effort to stop it citizens from having to live under constant rocket barrage, his administration spends the morning talking about how close a cease fire is. A 777 carrying 23 US citizens gets shot down over Ukraine, allegedly by Russian seperatists, armed by Russia, and he makes a momentary statement before a burger run. How the hell did we get here?

Ann Coulter wrong again
So to be honest I haven't read anything from Ann Coulter since this post around Nov of 2011, where she claimed that Romney not only would be the nominee, but had the audacity to say he should be the nominee in 2012. I hated the idea then, and hate it even more looking back on it.

More IRS coverup.
So today it comes out that this email was recently turned over by the IRS to Congress.
Whatever could all this mean?

Troops to the border Now
The Constitution was written specifically to limit the power of the Federal Government. The 10th Amendment was very specific about this:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people

Where are those illegals being dumped?
It seems like an interesting question posed by @ChuckCJohnson on twitter. So I decided I would figure it out.
Since Murrieta seems to be getting some news I figured we would start there, and in CA in general.

Time to feed our tree of Liberty.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it's natural manure. - Thomas Jefferson
Having just enjoyed the celebration of our nations 238th birthday, I have come to a distinct and determined conclusion. The tree of liberty is starving. It is time to feed her, so she may blossom once again to greatness.

Colorado sued to stop weed sales tax. 10th Amendment strikes again.
So when the State of Colorado passed a Constitutional Amendment allowing them to legalize the sale of weed, snack vendors and pot heads throughout the state rejoiced. Apparently some of those people selling the weed though, are none to happy about the 29% state and local tax that came with it.

Freedom wins, yet we all lose.
Yesterday, freedom won. Hobby Lobby was able to get a victory on religious grounds, the Unions in Illinois lost, and recently SCOTUS beat back the President on recess appointments. All of these are good things. Great things actually. So how do I get the strongest of feelings that we are all losing?

Rules and a treasure trove of information.
In the Dark Knight, Joker tells Batman that to get the truth he will have to break his one rule. In essence he is telling Batman he would have to kill him to stop him. While Batman ultimately is able to beat the Joker, he still loses.
We as Conservatives have one rule we live by. We refuse to destroy our morals and principals for anything. We understand that while everything goes to hell, the ability to look in the mirror in the morning and not be disgusted with what you see is extremely important. Our problem is we fight those that have no such qualms.

Politics, primaries and runoffs. What to do in the wake of Cochran.
I didn't post last night about the MS Senate race because I wanted time to digest the results and not spend my time posting things on here that would devolve into something not exactly family friendly. After thinking about it though I have come to a few conclusions.

IRS had contract with private firm to back up emails
I say had, because from 2005 to 2011-ish, the IRS contracted out the private firm Sonasoft. So here I am spending my weekend, wondering just how dumb the IRS could be to not be backing up emails and such forth, allowing individual employees to decide what should be kept to incriminate themselves, and lookie what I find on Monday morning.

IRS Hearings
Listen live here.
So lets take a quick update on the hearings. The IRS refuses to apologize because they feel they did nothing wrong. They need more money because they still haven't updated to windows 7. They have their budget cut which limits their ability to produce Star Trek parodies for training, Bush once lost emails, oh and they are not political.

Rapist rapes teacher while in prison.
So there are a few things we take for granted when a useless POS rapist is convicted and sent to 30 years in maximum security prison. The biggest would be that he wouldn't be in any position to rape anyone else (prison showers excluded). Turns out we are completely wrong on that part.
The new House Majority Leader Update: McCarthy
Well its almost that time. Will the House recogonize the rebuke that was given to them by Eric Cantors loss or will they simply move his right hand man into his position? Odd say they don't give a damn what you think so shut up already.
If/when McCarthy wins, you know liberalDemocrat Republican from CA, I'm sure the base will be fine and accepting of someone worse than what we had. It's not like we wanted someone with a spine and an actual ability to read the Constitution or anything like that.
Either way it should be happening here soon. I'll make sure to come back and give some amazing in depth analysis of why the GOP hates you.
As expected McCarthy wins. Thats right the GOP decided that a man more liberal than the man that was recently rebuked and told to get his ball and go home, was the perfect choice to move into his slot.
For anyone out there who thought there was a chance that the GOP would listen. Here is your answer. They don't hear you because they don't like you. They want you to go away, and they will continue to ignore and outright defy you until they are all removed.
Ready to talk about retroactive term limits yet?

Thad Cochran wants Democrats to win him the GOP Primary
We here at the Handbook have long contended that not including strict term limits into the Constitution was something the framers missed on. The idea that someone can spend 42 years or longer in Washington D.C. is exactly the reason we have the problems we have now. Sure some candidates go there with the best of intentions, then win a re-election, then feel invincible. Thats why no one should be allowed more than 2 terms in the House and one (1), that's right I said ONE term in the Senate. On top of that no one other than the President should be able to spend more than 6 consecutive years elected to Federal Office.

The IRS lies, Obama golfs.
So I haven't been around much. Sorry, but we here at the Handbook took some time and worked on life and such forth. I really had no intentions of coming back yet, but with everything coming out recently with the IRS and the fact that they obviously have the worst IT department ever, or they have completely given up on even trying to come up with believable excuses lies at this point.

Much like the frog our water is boiling!
image from newclearvision.com
I am reminded of a fable about a frog and a boiling pot of water.
I look around these days and can barely recognize the country we have become. According to our own President American exceptionalism is dead. We are inherently no better than the Greeks or the Iranians because after all everyone is special right?
How did we get here? Some people will look at the election and re-election of Obama and think that is where we went wrong. While that is true, his election was definitely a screw up of superb proportions it has been going on for a long time. His election was simply the left thinking they had slow walked us far enough that a giant leap wouldn't be fought very hard. Who knew they were right.

Veterans Day and an Oath
Almost 14 years ago I took an oath, signed some papers to defend this country from tyranny and oppression. I took that oath knowing full well that it would affect my life in ways that I could not have imagined at the time. I realized the choice I made would cause me to move a few times, and the addition of a wife and kids has made this life trying at times to say the least. The time away and constant moves definitely makes this life difficult from time to time, but I did it for a reason.
I signed up because I believed in something. I believed in this country and our founding principals. I say this not to get thanks from people or anything of that nature. I actually feel odd when I get thanked by people. I accept the thank you gracefully, but it always feels a little weird inside. Although I have often wondered if those WWII and Vietnam vets feel odd inside when I thank them.
I bring this up for one reason. Politicians also take an oath to follow the constitution. This as most can see these days is obviously a formality for them, since few actually seem to believe in it. I am pretty sure they have their fingers crossed when they say the words.
When someone does attempt to actually abide by their oath and follow through on the promises made to their constituency to get elected they are labeled "wacko birds". Well Mr. McCain maybe you should take a step back and remember the oaths you have taken.
Now you hear it coming out that the GOP establishment is going to declare basically all out war against those elected members who had the audacity to actually try to hold faith to the constitution. McConnell and his friends on K street are determined to get rid of those who actually believe the Constitution is relevant and should be followed strictly.
People like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Justin Amash are in the sights of the GOP establishment. Their crime is to have the audacity to challenge leadership and force them into a fight they never had the spine to finish or even want to try. They were perfectly happy going along and claiming that the "next fight" would be the one. We all knew it was a lie and Cruz called them on it. He made them all look weak and silly. They hate him for it.
They have made McCain so delusional with anger that he believes people are begging him to run for President again. They are trycing to fund their way to getting Amash out because he had the gall to agree with Cruz. They refused to spend the money needed to win in VA because they hated Cuccinelli being all conservative and what not. They wanted to send a message to us bitter clingers who still believe the Constitution is the ultimate law of the land.
Face it they hate you and don't like peasants like you and me trying to make them do their job the way we, their bosses, want it done. They would rather you just not pay attention, listen to their lies every few years and re-elect them with impunity.
They hate the fact that we no longer sit back and take the abuse. They hate the fact that we challenge them on their words. They detest the idea that we force them to follow the Constitution, and by that actually mean that oath they took when they were elected.

Shocking! Obamacare increases higher in red states.
Stop me if you have heard this one before. The President is determined to punish those that go against him or slight him in any fashion, real or perceived. For him though, the ultimate slight is having the gall to not vote for him. I mean can you imagine the nuts on those people to disrespect the chose one by voting against him? Well he will show us.

Principles and spines. Why the GOP establishment doesn't understand.
Word came out today that McConnell and the GOP establishment are hell bent on destroying a private Republican consulting firm because they had the audacity to work with the Senate Conservatives Fund. This really comes as no surprise. After all the SCF is determined to remove McConnell and his squishy friends from office.
